General Terms and Conditions:

  1. Unless otherwise specified, the promotion applies to cardholders ("Cardholders") of Citi Credit Cards and/or Citi Plus® Debit Mastercard® issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited (“Citibank”) (“Eligible Cards”). Cardholders must subscribe to one of the monthly plans of Birdie Mobile Limited (“Birdie”) on Birdie website (www.birdie.com.hk) or Birdie Mobile App. The merchants may reject an Eligible Card if their payment system cannot handle some of the Eligible Card type, please contact the respective merchant for details.
  2. Citibank will determine the eligibility of Cardholders to participate in this promotion, as well as the transactions, based on Citibank’s records.
  3. In case of any fraud/abuse/reversal or cancellation of transactions in respect of which the offers were awarded, Citibank reserves the right to debit from the Cardholder’s credit card and/or debit card account or (as the case may be) bank accounts the equivalent amount of the offers without prior notice.
  4. Cardholders’ accounts must be valid and with good credit record during the Promotion Period and the fulfillment period in order to be eligible to receive the offers, otherwise Citibank reserves the right to forfeit the offers without prior notice.
  5. Cardholders must keep and submit the relevant original card sales slips and original merchant sales receipts and/or other documents for inspection upon request by Citibank. All documents submitted to Citibank will not be returned.
  6. Unless otherwise specified, the offers cannot be used in conjunction with other special promotions, discounts or promotional coupons, nor be transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
  7. Unless otherwise specified, the offers in this promotion can be used at the same time.
  8. Unless otherwise specified, all amounts will be counted in Hong Kong Dollars.
  9. The offers received from this promotion cannot be used to settle any previous outstanding balances or withdrawn as a cash advance, nor can they be transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
  10. Availability of the offers is subject to offer or service availability, account status checking and final acceptance by Citibank and the respective merchant’s absolute discretion. Photos, product specifications and prices are for reference only.
  11. Citibank shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the related products or services provided by the respective merchant. The respective merchant is solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services.
  12. Citibank and the respective merchant reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions without prior notice. All matters and disputes are subject to the final decision of Citibank and the respective merchant.

Offer 1 – “Spending Offer for new Birdie subscribers” Terms and Conditions:

  1. Unless otherwise specified, the promotion is valid from 12:00nn on December 1, 2021 to 11:59pm on February 28, 2022, both dates inclusive ("Offer 1 Promotion Period").
  2. The “Spending Offer for new Birdie subscribers” (“Offer 1”) is applicable to Eligible Cardholders who register a new mobile number with Birdie or carry over their existing mobile number to Birdie and subscribe to the specified monthly plans with Eligible Cards and pay the monthly fees successfully.
  3. Upon successful subscription with designated promotion code (“CITIPLUS360” for Citi Plus® Credit Cards and Debit Mastercard®; “CITI300” for other Citi Credit Cards) to the specified monthly plans with an Eligible Card on Birdie during Offer 1 Promotion Period and pay with autopay for 6 consecutive months, customer shall be entitled up to HK$360 discounts for using Citi Plus® Credit Cards and Debit Mastercard® on monthly fees; or up to HK$300 discounts for using other Citi Credit Cards on monthly fees, and double data per month for 6 months (including the extra 2GB data for enabling autopay with credit card).
  4. Eligible Cardholders must input the designated promo code, remain subscribed to Birdie’s specified monthly plans and settle with Eligible Cards by autopay for 6 consecutive months, with the first autopay transaction completed during Offer 1 Promotion Period to enjoy Offer 1.
  5. For autopay with Citi Plus® Credit Cards or Debit Mastercard®, given that Eligible Cardholders successfully register and activate the specific monthly plan, a HK$60 monthly fee discount will be deducted in the 1st to 6th months, and double data per month for 6 months (including the extra 2GB data for enabling autopay with credit card). That is, up to a total of HK$360 and double data per month for 6 months. The extra data will be offered within 7 working days after the customer’s autopay date in the relevant month.
  6. For autopay with other Citi Credit Cards, given that Eligible Cardholders successfully register and activate the specific monthly plan, a HK$50 monthly fee discount will be deducted in the 1st to 6th months, and double data per month for 6 months (including the extra 2GB data for enabling autopay with credit card). That is, up to a total of HK$300 and double data per month for 6 months. The extra data will be offered within 7 working days after the customer’s autopay date in the relevant month.
  7. Eligible Cardholders must remain subscribed to one of the specified monthly plans below for 6 consecutive months to be eligible for the Offer:
    • The Birdie Mobile Unlimited Data Standard Monthly Plan (Monthly fee: HK$250/month) includes the following services: (i) 30GB of 4.5G 42Mbps local data per month, (ii) unlimited thereafter local data usage up to 21Mbps after the 30GB local data is fully consumed in the month, (iii) unlimited 4.5G 42Mbps local data during Owl Time (every day from 1:00a.m. to 6:00a.m.), (iv) unlimited local voice call minutes per month, and (v) voicemail, call forwarding, call number display, call waiting and conference call.
    • The Birdie Mobile 15GB Standard Monthly Plan (Monthly fee: HK$200/month) includes the following services: (i) 15GB of 4.5G 42Mbps local data per month, (ii) unlimited thereafter local data usage up to 2Mbps after the 15GB local data is fully consumed in the month, (iii) unlimited 4.5G 42Mbps local data during Owl Time (every day from 1:00a.m. to 6:00a.m.), (iv) unlimited local voice call minutes per month, and (v) voicemail, call forwarding, call number display, call waiting and conference call.
    • The Birdie Mobile 9GB Standard Monthly Plan (Monthly fee: HK$160/month) includes the following services: (i) 9GB of 4.5G 42Mbps local data per month, (ii) unlimited thereafter local data usage up to 2Mbps after the 9GB local data is fully consumed in the month, (iii) unlimited 4.5G 42Mbps local data during Owl Time (every day from 1:00a.m. to 6:00a.m.), (iv) unlimited local voice call minutes per month, and (v) voicemail, call forwarding, call number display, call waiting and conference call.
    • The Birdie Mobile 6GB Standard Monthly Plan (Monthly fee: HK$120/month) includes the following services: (i) 6GB of 4.5G 42Mbps local data per month, (ii) unlimited thereafter local data usage up to 2Mbps after the 6GB local data is fully consumed in the month, (iii) 3,000 local voice call minutes per month, and (iv) voicemail, call forwarding, call number display, call waiting and conference call.
  8. The promo codes are not valid in conjunction with other promotions, vouchers, and/or discounts, unless otherwise stated.
  9. Each Eligible Cardholder can enjoy Offer 1 once only during the Offer 1 Promotion Period subject to a quota of 300 for each specified monthly plan on a first-come-first served-basis.

Offer 2 - Citi Pay with Points Reward: Earn up to HK$120 Birdie Discount Coupon Terms and Conditions:

  1. Unless otherwise specified, the promotion is valid from 12:00nn on December 1, 2021 to 11:59pm on May 31, 2022, both dates inclusive ("Offer 2 Promotion Period").
  2. Unless otherwise specified, Offer 2 is only limited to the principal Cardholders of Citi Ultima Card, Citi Prestige Card, Citi Plus® Credit Card, Citi PremierMiles Card, Citi Rewards Card (except for Citi Rewards UnionPay Card), Citi HKTVmall Card, Citi Gold Card and Citi Classic Card issued by Citibank (“Designated Cards”).
  3. Upon the first successful Citi Pay with Points redemption of HK$50 or above via Birdie Platform (including payment of monthly fee, purchase of extra local data or upgrade to unlimited call package) each month during the Offer 2 Promotion Period (“Designated Redemption”), Designated Cardholders will receive ONE HK$20 Birdie monthly fee coupon (“HK$20 Discount Coupon”).
  4. During the entire Offer 2 Promotion Period, each Designated Cardholder can enjoy “Offer 2” ONCE per month, amounting to a maximum of HK$120 Birdie monthly fee coupons.
  5. The HK$20 Discount Coupon will be credited to “Gift Box” of the Designated Cardholder’s Birdie Platform account within 1 bill month upon the first successful Pay with Points redemption each month. Birdie will determine the eligibility of Designated Cardholders to receive Offer 2 based on its records at its sole and absolute discretion. Citibank shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the HK$20 Birdie Discount Coupon fulfillment arrangement. For fulfillment issues or disputes, please contact Birdie’s customer service.
  6. The corresponding Birdie Discount Coupon(s) are valid for 1 year upon issuance.
  7. If the Designated Cardholder’s account is terminated by the Designated cardholder or Birdie for any reason, any unused HK$20 Discount Coupons will be forfeited without any form of refund.
  8. “Offer 2” is subject to “Citi Pay with Points” Terms and Conditions.
  9. Limited to the first 3,500 Birdie subscribers to enjoy Offer 2 while stock lasts.

“Citi Pay with Points” Terms and Conditions

  1. Citi Pay with Points Redemption Service (“Service”) applies to Principal Cardholders ("Cardholders") of Citi Classic Card, Citi Gold Card, Citi HKTVmall Card, Citi Rewards Card (except Citi Rewards UnionPay Card), Citi PremierMiles Card, Citi Plus® Credit Card, Citi Prestige Card and Citi Ultima Card issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited ("Citibank") ("Designated Cards").
  2. This Service is applicable to the Single Net Transaction (as defined in Clause 3) Cardholders made at Birdie Mobile App with a Designated Card (“Designated Transaction”).
  3. A "Single Net Transaction" applies to the final amount of a single transaction after deduction of all applicable discounts, reductions and value of cash vouchers. Unposted/ cancelled/ refunded/ falsified/ unauthorized transactions are excluded.
  4. To enjoy this Service, Designated Cardholders must verify their identity by providing their mobile phone number that has been registered with Citibank, as per Citibank’s last updated record, to receive a One-Time Password, and the identity verification will be confirmed upon the One-Time Password is correctly entered. Designated Cardholders can select the amount to redeem with Citi Points (“Points”) and complete the redemption under the Service.
  5. Identity verification will not be required for subsequent redemptions made by the same Designated Card under the same Birdie account.
  6. The Service is valid immediately after performing the Designated Transaction. In any case Cardholders exit from Birdie Mobile App voluntarily or involuntarily including but not limited to network disconnection, technical device malfunction or unexpected outage on Birdie Mobile App, during any of the steps illustrated under Clause 4-5, Cardholders will not be eligible to enjoy the Service and will require to make another Designated Transaction at Birdie Mobile App to enjoy the Service.
  7. The amount of Points redeemed for statement credits to offset Designated Transaction will be deducted from Designated Card account. Cardholders may redeem up to Designated Transaction amount in full with Points or available Points at Designated Card account (whichever is lower). Cardholders must redeem a minimum amount, which is subject to the minimum required Points shown in the Citi Pay with Points page under Birdie Mobile App for each redemption. Statement credits will be posted to Designated Cardholders’ Card Account within 7 calendar days of redemption.
  8. The redemption rate varies by credit card types and may change from time to time. The exact redemption amount and points required are based on the display at the Citi Pay with Points page under Birdie Mobile App at the time of redemption.
  9. Designated Cardholders must promptly update Citibank of any change to mobile phone number. Citibank shall not be liable to any Cardholders or anyone else for any losses or damages arising from the Service.
  10. The Service cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged or traded for cash or other promotion.
  11. If under any circumstances Designated Cardholders return or cancel the Designated Transaction, any associated statement credit will remain on Designated Cardholders’ Card Account and Points will not be returned.
