General Terms and Conditions

  1. This Promotion is organized by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited ("Citibank") and WeChat Pay Hong Kong Limited (“WeChat Pay Hong Kong”) and is governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
  2. The promotion period is from April 18, 2023 to June 30, 2023 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”). All Eligible Transactions (based on transaction dates, as defined in Clause 3), all Utility Bill Payments (based on transaction dates, as defined in Clause 4), all Telecom Payments (based on transaction dates, as defined in Clause 4) and all Citi Pay with Points redemptions (based on redemption dates, as defined in “Citi Pay with Points” Terms and Conditions) must be conducted during the Promotion Period.
  3. “Eligible Transaction(s)” refers to the designated posted local offline and online transaction(s) made in Hong Kong Dollars (excluding money transfer, red packet transfer, top-up for any stored value facilities, Utility Bill Payment, Telecom Payment, cross-border payment) with an Eligible Card via WeChat Pay HK during the Promotion Period.
  4. “Utility Bill Payments” refer to utility bill payments (excluding Octopus Top-up) made with an Eligible Card via “Utilities” in WeChat Pay HK (WeChat – “Me” – “Services” – “Utilities”) during the Promotion Period. “Telecom Payments” refer to telecom payments made with an Eligible Card via “Telecom Payment” in WeChat Pay HK (WeChat – “Me” – “Services” – “Telecom Payment”) during the Promotion Period.
  5. “WeChat Pay HK” is a mobile-based stored value facility, managed and operated by WeChat Pay Hong Kong.
  6. Citibank will determine the eligibility of Cardholders to participate in this Promotion, as well as the transactions based on Citibank’s records.
  7. In case of any fraud/abuse/reversal or cancellation of transactions in respect of which the offers were awarded, Citibank reserves the right to debit from the Cardholder’s Eligible Card account or (as the case may be) bank accounts the equivalent amount of the offers without prior notice.
  8. Cardholders’ Eligible Card accounts must be valid and with good credit record at the time of receiving the offers and during the Promotion Period in order to be eligible to receive the offers, otherwise Citibank reserves the right to forfeit the offers without prior notice.
  9. Cardholders must keep and submit the relevant original credit card sales slips and original merchant sales receipts and/or other documents in respect of the Eligible Transactions for inspection upon request by Citibank. All documents submitted to Citibank will not be returned.
  10. Unless otherwise specified, this Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other special promotions, discounts, or promotional coupons, nor transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
  11. The offers received from this Promotion cannot be used to settle any previous outstanding balances, withdrawn as cash advance, nor transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
  12. Availability of the offers is subject to offer quota or service availability, account status checking and final acceptance by Citibank and WeChat Pay Hong Kong at their absolute discretion.
  13. Citibank shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the related products or services. The Merchant is solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services. Please contact the Merchant for details.
  14. Citibank and WeChat Pay Hong Kong will carry out this Promotion in accordance with applicable laws in Hong Kong. In the event this Promotion is stopped by government agency’s orders or must be suspended due to server network attack or system failure or any circumstances beyond Citibank’s and WeChat Pay Hong Kong’s control, such event shall be regarded as a force majeure event, and Citibank and WeChat Pay Hong Kong shall not be liable for any damage, loss or dispute therein.
  15.   16. Citibank and WeChat Pay Hong Kong reserve the right to amend the terms & conditions at any time without prior notice. For all matters and disputes related to this Promotion, the decision of Citibank and WeChat Pay Hong Kong will be final and conclusive. Citi Exclusive “Monthly WeStamps” Mission Reward: (“Spending Offer”) Terms and Conditions

  1. Unless otherwise specified, the Spending Offer is only available to Principal and Supplementary Cardholders who have linked their Citi credit cards issued by Citibank in Hong Kong ("Eligible Cards") to their WeChat Pay HK accounts (“Eligible Cardholder(s)”).
  2. During the Promotion Period, Eligible Cardholders can earn e-stamps in the “Monthly WeStamps” campaign page (“e-stamps”) upon completing the below missions with Eligible Cards. Details are as follows:
    Mission Number of e-stamp(s) collected per mission e-stamp cap
    Bind Eligible Cards on WeChat Pay HK for the first time 1 e-stamp 1 e-stamp only during the entire Promotion Period
    Conduct a single Eligible Transaction (as defined in Clause 3 above) of HK$150 or above 2 e-stamps 2 e-stamps per day and maximum 4 e-stamps per month
    Settle a single Utility Bill Payment (as defined in Clause 4 above) or Telecom Payment (as defined in Clause 4 above) of HK$50 or above 1 e-stamp 1 e-stamp per day and maximum 2 e-stamps per month
  3. During the Promotion Period, each Eligible Cardholder can exchange four e-stamps for one HK$15 Citi Credit Card exclusive e-cash voucher (“HK$15 e-cash voucher”). Each Eligible Cardholder can only redeem two HK$15 e-cash vouchers per month.
  4. During the Promotion Period, each Eligible Cardholder can exchange two e-stamps for one HK$10 Citi Credit Card exclusive bill payment e-cash voucher (“HK$10 bill payment e-cash voucher”). Each Eligible Cardholder can only redeem one bill payment e-cash voucher per month.
  5. E-stamps collected are calculated monthly and Eligible Cardholders are required to exchange e-stamps for HK$15 e-cash vouchers/ HK$10 bill payment e-cash vouchers on or before the last calendar day of each month. Any unredeemed e-stamp will be automatically forfeited after 11:59 pm on the last calendar day of each month and will not be reissued. The HK$15 e-cash voucher and/or the HK$10 bill payment e-cash voucher will be credited to the Eligible Cardholder’s WeChat Pay HK account automatically after redemption.
  6. Each HK$15 e-cash voucher will be valid for 30 days upon issuance and can be used upon completion of a single spending of HK$150 or above at any merchant in Hong Kong accepting WeChat Pay HK with any Eligible Card via WeChat Pay HK.
  7. Each HK$10 bill payment e-cash voucher will be valid for 30 days upon issuance and can be used upon settling a single Utility Bill Payment or Telecom Payment of HK$50 or above via “Utilities” or “Telecom Payment” with any Eligible Card in WeChat Pay HK.
  8. Availability of the HK$15 e-cash voucher/ HK$10 bill payment e-cash voucher will be subject to a daily quota throughout the Promotion Period. Offer is limited in quantity, on a first-come-first-served basis while stocks last. Once the quota has been reached, this Promotion will end immediately without prior notice (irrespective of the Promotion Period end date set out in clause 2 above). The system record of WeChat Pay Hong Kong shall prevail under any circumstances.
  9. This Promotion is subject to other applicable terms and conditions of WeChat Pay Hong Kong, please refer to WeChat Pay HK e-Cash Voucher Redemption and Usage Terms and Conditions below.

 

Citi Pay with Points Offer ("Citi Pay with Points Offer") Terms and Conditions

  1. The Citi Pay with Points Offer is only available to Principal Cardholders of Citi ULTIMA, Citi Plus® Credit Card, Citi Prestige Card, Citi PremierMiles Card, Citi Rewards Card, Citi HKTVmall Card, Citi Gold Card and Citi Classic Card issued by Citibank (“Designated Cards”), who have linked their Designated Cards to their WeChat Pay HK account ("Applicable Cardholders”).
  2. During the Promotion Period, Applicable Cardholders who conduct an Eligible Transaction/ Utility Bill Payment/ Telecom Payment with a single spending of HK$50 or above with any Designated Card via WeChat Pay HK and subsequently make a successful Citi Pay with Points redemption of HK$50 or above are eligible to earn one HK$5 e-cash voucher (“HK$5 e-cash voucher”). Each Applicable Cardholder can earn a maximum of TWO HK$5 e-cash vouchers per month, subject to daily quota. A quota of 30,000 HK$5 e-cash vouchers will be available during the entire Promotion Period.
  3. During the Promotion Period, Applicable Cardholders who conduct an Eligible Transaction/ Utility Bill Payment/ Telecom Payment with a single spending of HK$100 or above with any Designated Card via WeChat Pay HK and subsequently make a successful Citi Pay with Points redemption of HK$100 or above are eligible to earn one HK$20 e-cash voucher (“HK$20 e-cash voucher”). Each Applicable Cardholder can earn a maximum of TWO HK$20 e-cash vouchers per month, subject to daily quota. A quota of 30,000 HK$20 e-cash vouchers will be available during the entire Promotion Period.
  4. Applicable Cardholders who make a single eligible redemption as set out in Clause 28 or 29 (“Eligible Redemption”), can only enjoy one HK$5 e-cash voucher or one HK$20 e-cash voucher per redemption respectively. The respective e-cash voucher rewarded will be credited to the Applicable Cardholder’s WeChat Pay HK account within 24 hours upon each successful Eligible Redemption.
  5. Each HK$5 e-cash voucher will be valid for 30 days upon issuance and can be used upon completion of a single spending of HK$10 or above at any merchant in Hong Kong accepting WeChat Pay HK with any Eligible Card via WeChat Pay HK.
  6. Each HK$20 e-cash voucher will be valid for 30 days upon issuance and can be used upon completion of a single spending of HK$40 or above at any merchant in Hong Kong accepting WeChat Pay HK with any Eligible Card via WeChat Pay HK.
  7. Applicable Cardholders are required to maintain sufficient available Citi Points of equivalent value of at least HK$50 as mentioned in Clause 28 or HK$100 as mentioned in Clause 29 in their Designated Card accounts in order to complete the Citi Pay with Points redemption to enjoy the Citi Pay with Points Offer.
  8. Citi Pay with Points via WeChat Pay HK is subject to other terms and conditions, please refer to “Citi Pay with Points” Terms and Conditions below.
  9. The usage of the HK$5 e-cash voucher and the HK$20 e-cash voucher is subject to other applicable terms and conditions of WeChat Pay Hong Kong, please refer to WeChat Pay HK e-Cash Voucher Redemption and Usage Terms and Conditions below.

 

“WeChat Pay HK e-Cash Voucher Redemption and Usage” Terms and Conditions

  1. During the Promotion Period, each Cardholder can only participate in this Promotion in accordance with the terms and conditions above. For the avoidance of doubt, “each Cardholder” refers to a natural person with legal capacity who uses the WeChat Pay HK service, but not merely a WeChat Pay HK account. To further avoid any dispute, in the following circumstances, the relevant WeChat Pay HK accounts will be deemed to be used by the same Cardholder:
    1. Logging in of multiple WeChat Pay HK accounts on the same mobile phone or mobile device; or
    2. Logging in of the same WeChat Pay HK account with multiple mobile phones or mobile devices; or
    3. The same credit card number being connected to multiple WeChat Pay HK accounts.
    In the case of any of the above, in order to verify the Cardholder’s identity and prevent the risk of theft or misuse of such WeChat Pay HK account, mobile phone number, mobile device or credit card, WeChat Pay Hong Kong reserves the right to suspend or terminate the release of offers rewarded to the relevant WeChat Pay HK account and to take any legal action it deems fit.
  2. Cardholders may go to “Coupon” under “Offers” in their WeChat Pay HK account to check the HK$15 e-cash voucher and/or HK$10 bill payment e-cash voucher and/or HK$5 e-cash voucher and/or HK$20 e-cash voucher (collectively, “e-cash vouchers”) details. Only one e-cash voucher rewarded under this Promotion will be deducted automatically per transaction in applicable circumstances. Any e-cash voucher that has not been used after the expiry date will automatically become invalid and will not be reissued.
  3. Unless specified, the e-cash vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, nor can it be used to top-up any stored value facilities, and it is not applicable for any form of payment including tax payment, Person-to-Person (P2P) Payment transfer, local or international remittance and red packet. The HK$15 e-cash voucher, HK$5 e-cash voucher and the HK$20 e-cash voucher are not applicable for Utilities Payment or Telecom Payment while the HK$10 bill payment e-cash voucher can only applicable to Utilities Payment or Telecom Payment via “Utilities” or “Telecom Payment” in WeChat Pay HK. The e-cash vouchers are issued by WeChat Pay Hong Kong and can only be used for transaction(s) paid via WeChat Pay HK. The use of different types of e-cash voucher is subject to their respective terms and conditions to be determined by WeChat Pay Hong Kong from time to time.
  4. Cardholders are not required to present the e-cash voucher when enjoying the offer. Under applicable circumstances, the e-cash voucher will be deducted automatically upon Cardholders making subsequent transactions using WeChat Pay HK and will be shown as used after successful payment.
  5. If there is more than one e-cash voucher stored in “Coupon” under Cardholder’s WeChat Pay HK account, under circumstances when the requirements for use are complied with, the e-cash voucher with the highest value will be used first. In case the e-cash vouchers are of the same value, the e-cash voucher with the earliest expiry date will be used first.
  6. When WeChat Pay Hong Kong has more than one e-cash voucher promotion running concurrently, Cardholders will be entitled to all the e-cash voucher(s) as long as they can satisfy the relevant eligibility criteria for any or all promotions.
  7. If there is any breach of these terms and conditions or illegal, fraudulent or abusive behavior during the use of any e-cash voucher, Citibank and WeChat Pay Hong Kong will forfeit such Cardholder’s relevant reward and entitlement to the e-cash voucher forthwith and without notice. Citibank and WeChat Pay Hong Kong reserve the right to cancel such transaction(s) and to take legal action against the relevant Cardholder.
  8. Unless otherwise specified, the e-cash voucher cannot be used in conjunction with other special promotions, discounts or promotional offers, nor transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
  9. For goods return or refund, the amount on the relevant e-cash voucher will not be refunded and the relevant e-cash voucher will not be re-issued after being used.
  10. Citibank and WeChat Pay Hong Kong shall bear no liability if Cardholders cannot perform a successful redemption of the relevant e-cash voucher and/or the relevant e-cash voucher is lost due to any circumstances.

 

“Citi Pay with Points” Terms and Conditions

  1. Citi Pay with Points Redemption Service (“Service”) applies to Principal Cardholders ("Cardholders") of Citi Classic Card, Citi Gold Card, Citi HKTVmall Card, Citi Rewards Card, Citi PremierMiles Card, Citi Plus® Credit Card, Citi Prestige Card and Citi ULTIMA issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited ("Citibank") ("Designated Cards").
  2. This Service is applicable to the Single Net Transaction (as defined in Clause 3) made by Cardholders via WeChat Pay HK (“WeChat Pay HK”) operated and managed by WeChat Pay Hong Kong Limited (“WeChat Pay Hong Kong”) with a Designated Card (“Eligible Transaction”).
  3. A "Single Net Transaction" applies to the final amount of a single transaction after deduction of all applicable discounts, reductions and value of any cash vouchers. Unposted/ cancelled/ refunded/ falsified/ unauthorized transactions are excluded.
  4. To enjoy this Service, Cardholders must verify their identity by providing Citibank with their mobile phone number that has been registered with Citibank, as per Citibank’s last updated record, to receive a One-Time Password, and the identity verification will be confirmed upon correctly entering the One-Time Password. Cardholders can select the amount to redeem with Citi Points (“Points”) and complete the redemption under the Service.
  5. Identity verification will not be required for subsequent redemptions made by the same Designated Card under the same WeChat Pay HK account.
  6. The Service is valid immediately after performing the Eligible Transaction. In the event Cardholders voluntarily or involuntarily exit from WeChat Pay HK due to, including but not limited to, network disconnection, technical device malfunction or unexpected outage on WeChat Pay HK, during any of the steps illustrated under Clauses 4 and 5, Cardholders will not be eligible to enjoy the Service and will need to make another Eligible Transaction via WeChat Pay HK to enjoy the Service.
  7. The amount of Points redeemed for statement credits to offset an Eligible Transaction will be deducted from Cardholder’s Designated Card account. Cardholders may redeem up to the Eligible Transaction amount in full with Points or available Points on the Cardholder’s Designated Card account (whichever is lower). Cardholders must redeem a minimum amount, which is subject to the minimum required Points shown in the Citi Pay with Points page under WeChat Pay HK for each redemption. Statement credits will be posted to Cardholders’ Designated Card account within 7 calendar days of redemption.
  8. The redemption rate varies by credit card types and may change from time to time. The exact redemption amount and points required are based on the display at the Citi Pay with Points page under WeChat Pay HK at the time of redemption.
  9. Cardholders must update Citibank promptly of any change to their mobile phone number. Citibank and WeChat Pay Hong Kong shall not be liable to any Cardholders or anyone else for any losses or damages arising from the Service.
  10. The Service cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged or traded for cash or other promotion.
  11. If under any circumstances Cardholders return or cancel the Eligible Transaction, any associated statement credit will remain on Cardholders’ Designated Card account and Points will not be returned.
  12. Citibank reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions without prior notice.
  13. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms & Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
